Miguel Almiron has struck for the third time in his MLS career to give Atlanta United a 1-0 lead over Houston Dynamo in the first half. A fantastic strike with his left foot was too much for Joe Willis to handle after outpacing several defenders to break into the box.
He followed up the goal by racing to the Atlanta fans to celebrate and then threw up the patented “A” hand signal to boot.

We get it, Miggy. You’re awesome at soccer and you love Atlanta. We love you already.
Just a few minutes later and he was at it again and scored an even better goal for his second of the match. Collecting the ball at the top of the box, he hoped over one tackle, kept possession and smashed a perfect shot into the top corner to make it 2-0 on the night. It’s his fourth goal of the season and undoubtedly his best.
You're a bad man, Miguel Almirón.@ATLUTD's #10 does it again for the home team. #ATLvHOU https://t.co/rv9KC5IPWH

After Julian Gressel made it 3-0, Atlanta were awarded their first penalty of the season after Tito Villalba was fouled in the box. Miggy stepped up and converted his hat trick.
