The Daily Dirt: Jurgen Klinsmann calls his critics 'immature' and 'wrong'

The USMNT boss is as defiant as ever despite poor results

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

United States Men's National Team manager Jurgen Klinsmann has never been shy about sharing his true feelings with the media. Even at the detriment of his popularity, the former Germany striker has been very vocal about he views towards the supporters and media who question him.

Klinsmann has even gone as far as questioning the knowledge of the American soccer world after the team lost in the Gold Cup semifinal to Jamaica in July.

"It’s a good thing you have so much comments and opinions because it shows you that a lot more people care. They care about the game, they care about the national team. They care about saying their opinion. Do they understand really what happened in the Gold Cup? Some of them absolutely do and a lot of people don’t. I take it, it’s not a big deal. But it also explains we have a long way to go to educate people on the game of soccer still in this country."  - Jurgen Klinsmann; Source: NBC Sports

Right before his team faces a tough World Cup qualifying away test at Trinidad & Tobago, he has again lashed out at his critics calling them "immature" and "wrong" in an interview with Yahoo! See for yourself:
