Marietta's City Council is expected to vote on their proposed deal with Atlanta United for the location of the club's training facility on Wednesday (November 11).

According to WXIA, Atlanta's NBC affiliate, Council members received details of the deal tonight and will decide via a vote on Wednesday. Lawyers for the city were understood to be working on a Memorandum of Understanding on Monday that would outline the agreement between the city and Atlanta United Football Club.

It was announced by the club on Friday that their plans for the training facility to be built in DeKalb County would have to be abandoned due to unforeseen expenditures. With their first plan no longer an option, AUFC had Marietta as their Plan B and it turns out they'll be forced to exercise this option.

We should find out on Wednesday whether or not the City Counsel approve the deal, if they do approve it hopefully the bureaucratic process will be over and we can finally proceed to the execution of getting this training ground built.
