Miami FC, the newest NASL team, announced the signing of former Atlanta Silverbacks striker Jaime Chavez along with two other players last night at their uniform unveiling event. The 28-year-old was signed to the Silverbacks by Eric Wynalda in April last year and went on to score 16 goals in 56 appearances.
Chavez will now join Alessandro Nesta's side for their inaugural season set to begin in April of next year.
The Silverbacks have not published any further details about the deal other than the tweet below.
Thanks for everything, Jaime. Make the whole Silverbacks family proud at @TheMiamiFC. pic.twitter.com/mXygJN3cPD

Read into this what you will but the fact that the Silverbacks let one of their best players go to Miami without saying much about it doesn't spell promising for the club.
Last week we received this update about the search for new owners.
Conversations with prospective owners are still ongoing. Out of respect to the process, not much more can be said unfortunately.

We wish Jaime the best of luck with Miami FC.
