USA U-17's vs. England, 2015 Nike International Friendlies: Preview and How to Watch

The United States Under-17 National Team is set to kick off a brand new cycle today as they begin the prestigious Nike International Friendly showcase in Florida. Last cycle, the U.S. U-17's under Richie Williams were knocked out of the World Cup after accumulating just one point in three matches despite having one of the more talented player pools in recent history.

The U-17 coaching situations seems murky at best, with Richie Williams not taking control of this team, instead having John Hackworth take charge. It's unclear what the long term plan is regarding the head coaching role.

Two players from Georgia United have been named to the roster for this annual showcase of some of the world's best young talent. Midfielders Andrew Carleton and Christopher Goslin were both granted call-ups by Hackworth. Needless to say, we'll be watching all three of these matching eager to see them both in action.

England will be the first test for this young American side. In last year's showcase, the U.S. was able to handle England and win 3-1 behind the brilliance of Christian Pulisic. Can this crop of prospects replicate that side's success?
