This Christmas season, you can enjoy the Premier League matches while also doing some good for your local Atlanta community. Atlanta United will once again do its scarf exchange at the Brewhouse Cafe in Little Five Points on December 26, Boxing Day.
If you're like most Americans, you didn't grow up celebrating this holiday. For clarification that this has nothing to do with the sport of boxing, check out this explanation. Meanwhile, that's no reason to skip out on the Premiership matches and swap for an Atlanta United scarf.
Last year's edition, and also the first, was a rousing success. Over 130 scarves were donated to the City of Refuge. In exchange, fans received what was then an "MLS Atlanta 2017" scarf.
This year, the club is raising the stakes. They will have 300 scarves on hand, which is billed as a "limited edition Atlanta United Boxing Day scarf." For a donation of $10 to Soccer in the Streets and a 'gently used' scarf, you will receive one of these special scarves in return.
Saturday is #BoxingDay! We’ll be at @Brewhouse_Cafe from 9am-12pm. Bring a $10 donation for @soccerstreets and receive an exclusive scarf!

You can join Darren Eales and Carlos Bocanegra this Saturday from 9 am until noon. Quantities are limited and only the first 300 will be able to exchange for an Atlanta United scarf.
