Georgia Soccer D2 & D3 State Championship
The Georgia Soccer Division 2 and Division 3 Championship finals took place over the weekend at the Lovejoy Soccer Complex. The Division 2 champions advance to the Region III Presidents Cup to play for a spot in the National Presidents Cup.

Grande Club Team Rankings
Top Drawer Soccer compiled their team rankings for the month of January and three Georgia teams were included. GSA 01 Premier of Lilburn is ranked third in the country at the U-15 level with United Futbol Academy 01 Elite at coming in at 12th. Both teams currently compete in the U.S. Youth Soccer National League. The Georgia United Development Academy team is ranked 20th at the U-14 level.
U.S. Youth National Team
The U.S. U-17s finished in second place at the 2016 Mercedes-Benz Aegean Cup in Turkey. Managed by John Hackworth, they opened with victories against Greece (2-1) and Belgium (2-0) before losing to Turkey (3-1) in the final. Andrew Carleton and Chris Goslin of Georgia United were on the roster. Carleton scored against Greece and Belgium.

Jefferson Cup
The brackets for the 2016 edition of the extremely prestigious Jefferson Cup have been announced and a few Georgia teams have been accepted (via Soccer Wire). The tournament, which is being held March 11th through the 13th, is hosted by the Richmond Strikers (VA) and regularly features the best youth teams in the United States and Canada. The following Georgia teams have been accepted:

Jacob Daniel honored with NSCAA Long-Term Service Award
Georgia Soccer's Jacob Daniel was awarded the Charlotte Moran Long-Term Service Award by the NSCAA. He serves as the Director of Coaching for Georgia Soccer and ODP Region III Technical Director.
