Jackson Conway has featured for the Atlanta United U16 academy squad this season, a key figure in their 7-0-0 start in U.S. Soccer Development Academy play and their successful start to Generation adidas Cup qualifying. His strong play has been rewarded with another call-up to a U.S. youth national team.
Conway will be joining the U16 team coached by Shaun Tsakiris at the Val-de-Marne Tournament in Val-de-Marne, France. Savannah, Georgia native Indiana Vassilev of IMG Academy is also part of the team. The U16’s feature seventeen players from Development Academy clubs.
The team arrives in France tomorrow and will play three games during their stay:
- Tuesday, October 25 vs. England
- Thursday, October 27 vs. Russia
- Saturday, October 29 vs. France
He has scored two goals in four appearances with the Atlanta United U16’s in Development Academy action, and also scored this eye opening goal at the Generation adidas Cup East Regional qualifying tournament:
