Happy Birthday to our favorite Trinidadian

Go Kenwyne, it’s your birthday. We’re gonna party like it’s your birthday.

The Atlanta United striker turned 32 today. He’s been a professional since the age of 18 and made his first appearance for the Trinidad national team at 19. Jones made a name for himself in England, where he played for six different clubs in eleven seasons. A couple of his former England clubs wished him a Happy Birthday on Twitter.

He is currently on loan to Central FC in Trinidad and will join Atlanta United in January when training camp for the 2017 MLS season begins. Andrew Carleton, United’s first homegrown signing, also reached out to Jones.

Atlanta United joined in as well, tweeting a photo of Jones looking fresh in AUFC gear.

From all of us at Dirty South Soccer, we would like to wish you a Happy Birthday, Kenwyne. We cannot wait to see you put a few goals in the back of the net next season. Until then, good luck at Central FC.
