Atlanta United Academy stars rake in NSCAA honors

Andrew Carleton named Boys Player of the Year

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) have unveiled their yearly awards for the country’s top youth soccer players. Atlanta United’s Academy players are well-represented in winners lists.

First the big award for Boys national Player of the Year has been given to the club’s first ever Homegrown player, Andrew Carleton. Out of all the youth players in the country, the NSCAA voted him to be the top one. What an honor and yet another sign of his extraordinary potential and bright future.

The hits don’t stop there. In addition to Carleton, three other Atlanta United Academy players have made their All-American team. Carlos Asensio, Chris Goslin, and Zyen Jones have all been given the honor as well.
