The next month will set the stage for Atlanta United’s roster build out as MLS clubs make their decisions on their direction for 2017. News will continue to come out about clubs’ decisions on contract options for a number of their players.

This is will help us build out the road map for Atlanta United as they add players in the Expansion Draft, Free Agency, Waiver Draft, and Re-Entry Draft in just over a month’s time.

I know that most of the focus is on the Expansion Draft, but don’t forget about the other ways Atlanta will add players. Gems can be found in all of the methods, and the front office will be acquiring players in every way to build a strong initial roster.

Stay tuned for updates from around the league. Also, check out the full SB Nation roster of websites covering teams from around the league.
