Heath, the son of Minnesota United manager Adrian Heath, is 20-years-old and has played for the Lions for the past two years. He was signed in March 2015 as a Homegrown Player. Prior to joining his father in Orlando, Heath was part of Norwich City’s 2013 FA Youth Cup winning squad.
In 2016, Heath’s season was derailed by a knee injury that limited him to three appearances with the first team and twelve games with Orlando City B in the USL. He did not feature for the first team after Jason Kreis became the club’s head coach.
Heath’s teammates have consistently spoken highly of his performances in training. He is known as an excellent passer, which will serve him well in a Tata Martino squad.
