AUFC already has an academy player on the active U-16 roster in Jackson Conway. Conway and the rest of the team competed in the Val-De-Marne Tournament in France, finishing third in a four-team field that included England, France and Russia. They are currently in Bradenton, Florida for the IMG Cup, which will run through December 19.
Bello was a member of the United States under-15 team that trained in Bradenton last month, scoring a goal in a 7-0 victory over Weston FC on November 8. With AUFC’s under 15/16 squad this season, he has appeared in 11 games (starting 10), recording two goals and an assist. Last Monday, he started and played 35 minutes in a 1-0 victory over Baltimore Armour’s under 15/16 side.
