Welcome to a new weekend feature here on Dirty South Soccer. Let's face it, news is pretty slow on the weekends. Most of us just want to watch games and get away from the daily grind of news and off-the-field drama. This is our attempt to give you a place to come and discuss the soccer games you watch during the weekend with some fellow soccer fans.
Each weekend we'll have new threads (Saturday and Sunday) highlighting the best games on TV. Then the floor is yours in the comments to chat, debate, joke, about whatever you'd like to. We'll be around throughout the day to chat right along with you.
Here are the top three games to watch on Saturday:
1. Real Madrid vs. Atletico Madrid (10 a.m. ET, beIN Sports, beIN Sports Connect)
It's the Madrid Derby. #2 vs. #3 in La Liga. Two of the best clubs in the world in what promises to be an intense affair. It's definitely worth a watch if you're not digging any of the Premier League or Bundesliga offerings in the same time slot.
2. Wolfsburg vs. Bayern Munich (9:30 a.m. ET, Fox Sports 2, Fox Sports Go)
Maybe you aren't feeling La Liga this year and prefer an alternative. Bayern Munich are 8 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table, but face a tricky away fixture against Wolfsburg this weekend. Wolfsburg are in 8th, but always present a challenge for the top sides in Germany.
3. Leicester City vs. Norwich City (10 a.m. ET, NBC Sports Network, Live Extra)
Okay, so you're a diehard Premier League supporter and nothing else will do. The Saturday schedule is a little drab, but you can't go wrong with watching 2016's Cinderella story, Leicester City, attempt to stay atop the PL table. They host pesky Norwich City in what should be a pretty entertaining match.
