Last week Atlanta United sent a group of Under-12 youth players to Dallas for the 2016 Generations adidas Cup. It's a 7-a-side tournament for youth players from the biggest academy across the country. This was the first official event that Atlanta United has had a team participate in. During their second match of the group stage against D.C. United's tikes, they scored their first goal, which could conceivably be considered the first goal in Atlanta United history.
Here it is in all of it's glory:

As a famous color commentator once said: "Ohhhhh, ya beauty! What a hit, son. What a hit!"
While it may not be spoken about in the history books once Atlanta United is fully established, we can all say that this is the first goal ever scored by a player representing the club. Pretty neat.
