Week three of the Chucktown Check-In! Charleston Battery get a 2-1 win over the Wilmington Hammerheads. Early goal from Romario Williams and a late set-piece game-winner from Taylor Mueller give the Battery the three points and keep that unbeaten streak alive.

Another easy night for Alex Tambakis. Only two shots on goal with zero saves for the Atlanta United signee. Battery allow their first goal of the season on a free kick. They also stand in second place within the Eastern Conference behind the Richmond Kickers on goal differential.

The Battery next travel to Charlotte to take on the Independence in the second Southern Derby Saturday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. That game (and all USL games) can be found online on the USL Youtube.com page. Get a direct feed of the live stream on DSS on Saturday.

Feel free to email any insight, inquiries or questions about the game on Saturday to MOTSPodcast@gmail.com. We'll eventually have a specific Chucktown Check-In email for you to utilize.
