Three matches into the 2016 USL season and the Charleston Battery are unbeaten. Two home wins and an away draw have the Battery sitting third in the Eastern conference standings (level on points, but third on goal differential). They'll be looking to for their first away victory of the season tonight against the Charlotte Independence who have won one and lost two to begin the campaign.
It's been a quiet start to the season thus far for Atlanta United's first ever signing, Alex Tambakis. He's only been forced into making five saves in three matches so far, conceding only one goal (nothing he could've done) in the process. So far it appears as if shot stopping is a big strength of his skillset while coming out for crosses is something he needs to improve on.
In their only away match of the season so far, the Battery severely outplayed Orlando City only to come away with a scoreless draw. Can they cure their road woes and get on the scoresheet against Charlotte?
Tonight's Charleston Battery Lineup: Tambakis, Woodbine, Adjetey, Mueller, Ferguson, Prince, Hackshaw, Portillo, Griffith, Guerra, Williams.
Kickoff Time: 7:00 p.m. ET
