Georgia United players shine in USA win over Canada

Georgia United Academy players Christopher Goslin and Andrew Carleton scored in the United States under-17 national team's 3-1 win over Canada at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Goslin netted in the 49th minute to put the United States up 2-0 with Carleton adding the insurance goal in the 59th minute.

The U-17s roster is coached by John Hackworth and comprised of players from the Residency program in Bradenton, Florida. Georgia United players Carlos Asensio and Zyen Jones were also named to the friendly roster.

The United States takes on Canada a second time on Sunday, April 17th at Lockhart Stadium.

Georgia United Technical Director Tony Annan was recently hired as an Atlanta United Academy manager.
