You may or may not have heard about this, but Atlanta United announced the plans for their $60 million training ground.
You're pumped, I'm pumped, my dog's pumped.
But do you know who else is pumped?
United States men's national team coach and living legend Jurgen Klinsmann is pumped.
fantastic plans released by Atlanta United ! Exciting!https://t.co/xfp0Vwr3gR

The plans are fantastic, Jurgen. They are.
I suppose now is when I'm supposed to make a joke about Klinsmann utilizing the training ground as an aquatic center or a library (Get it? Because he occasionally plays people out of position.), but I'm above such tomfoolery.
Anyway, do you know what a top training facility brings? Top teams coming to check it out when they're in town. Those top teams have top players. Those top players begin to consider Atlanta United as a potential destination.
Will the U.S. national team come to Atlanta more now that they have a place to train before and after friendlies or qualifiers? It's a possibility. I'm not promising anything, but it certainly doesn't hurt Atlanta's chances.
If you build it, they will come. You catch more flies with a $60 million training center than with vinegar. A rolling training center gathers no moss. A good training center in the hand is worth two in the bush.
