The Chucktown Check-In: Week 4 - Charleston Battery at Charlotte Independence Review

Recapping the first loss of the young Battery season

Week four of the USL season and the Charleston Battery suffer a tough 3-2 loss in a game that saw just about everything go wrong for the Battery.

Positives: Romario Williams tallied another goal, Tambakis was tested (18 shots; 10 SOG), injuries suffered by players in training last week don't look serious

Negatives: Shawn Ferguson directly responsible for three of last four goals, injuries are causing Battery an issue, not a ton of play in the midfield and more long ball type of attack.

We hope the Battery right their woes next Sunday, April 24 at 3 PM against Bethlehem Steel. That game (and all USL games) can be found online on the USL Youtube.com page. Get a direct feed of the live stream on DSS on Sunday.

Feel free to email any insight, inquiries or questions about the game on Saturday to MOTSPodcast@gmail.com. We'll eventually have a specific Chucktown Check-In email for you to utilize.
