Georgia United

The U-16s and U-18s traveled to Florida to take on Boca United Football and Orlando City SC.

The U-16s took down Boca United, 2-1, on Saturday behind goals from Cheik Fofana and Victor Pereyra-Zavala. They took down Orlando, 3-1, on Sunday with Fofana scoring a brace and Tanner Carlson adding a goal off the bench. The U-16s are currently in 4th place in the Development Academy's Southeastern Division with a 13-10-2 record and a wildcard spot in the national playoffs.

The U-18s opened their weekend with a 4-0 romp over Boca. Patrick Okonkwo netted a hat trick and Plamen Mangarov added to the score sheet. They dropped their match to Orlando, 2-1, with Okonkwo scoring Georgia's lone goal. The U-18s are clinging a spot in the national playoffs with a 13-9-3 record.

Next weekend, the U-14s take on the visiting South Carolina Battery Academy twice at Metro North Park. The U-16s and U-18s travel to North Carolina to take on North Carolina Fusion and Capital Area Railhawks - CASL.

Concorde Fire

The U-16s and U-18s traveled to Florida to take on Orlando City and Boca United.

The U-16s lost to Orlando, 4-0, on Saturday. They rebounded with a 2-1 win over Boca. Cristian Rodriguez and Michael Stockley scored in the victory. The Concorde U-16s are currently in 8th place in the Southeastern Division with a 9-11-3 record.

The U-18s also lost to Orlando, 4-0, but turned things around with a 4-0 thrashing of Boca. Joshua Blank, Michael Ille, Timothy McQuaid, and Juan Rico scored for Concorde. They're currently in 9th place in the Southeastern Division with a 6-12-5 record.

All three Concorde Development Academy teams travel to North Carolina next weekend to take on the Railhawks on Saturday and the Fusion on Sunday.

Tournament Delle Nazioni roster announced

The U.S. under-16 boys' national team is heading to Italy for the 13th Tournament Delle Nazioni after winning last year's edition. Savannah native Indiana Vassilev was called up to the 20-man roster. The U-16s, led by coach Shaun Tsakiris, will take on Croatia (April 25th), Slovenia (April 26th), and Brazil (April 27th).

id2 Training Camp

U.S. Club Soccer hosted 120 players at the WRAL Soccer Center in Raleigh, North Carolina for its National Identification Development Program. Defender Ethan Misere of Storm SA participated in the camp that ran from April 7th through the 10th.

Incredible Dalton streak ends

Dalton High School's unbeaten streak of 80 consecutive matches ended in the Region 7-5A semifinals against Riverwood. After ending extra time tied at 2-2, Riverwood won the penalty shootout, 4-3. Despite the loss, Dalton will still be heading to the state tournament.
