The best Atlanta United kit designs from Design Football's competition

Atlanta United FC 2017 Football Kit Competition is officially closed. Do you agree with my top 5?

DesignFootball.com held an Atlanta United kit design competition that included home, away, alternative and goalkeeper kits. While some were, well, interesting, others offered a unique alternative to the stripes we've all grown accustomed to on AUFC shirts. This is also the first time we've been shown goalkeeper kits with an Atlanta United logo.

Considering the AUFC home kits will most likely utilize stripes, I have decided to eliminate striped kits and focus more on the best away and alternative kits, as well as ranking the best goalkeeper kits in the competition. I also am not going to rank these in any particular order. I'll simply list what I think are the best five away/alternative kits and rank the goalkeeper kits.

You'll notice very quickly the different variations of an Atlanta United kit once the stripes become a disqualifier. Not that I don't like the stripes, but we've already seen most, if not all, of the striped home kit concept designs, so why bother reviewing what we've already reviewed over and over.

The one solid conclusion I can come to is that jersey sales should not be a problem for Atlanta United in 2017.

You can see all of the designs here and judge for yourself.
