Welcome back to MLS Fantasy Tips. I hope your team did well over the DGW last round. Here are the updated standings going into round 5. Round 6 is a double game week again for a few teams and it would wise to look ahead and stock up on those players. Teams with two games during round 6 include: Colorado Rapids, FC Dallas, New York Red Bulls, Portland Timbers, San Jose Earthquakes, Sporting Kansas City. Let us know in the comments who you are picking up this week.
Add
- Jordan Harvey: Vancouver's defense haven't let in a goal in their past two games and face a struggling DC United side this weekend who have only scored three goals in five games. Vancouver have DGWs coming up in Rounds 8 and 10. At only $7.1, Harvey could be a bargain in the coming weeks.
- Diego Valeri: Valeri is in form with 17 points over his last two matches. The Timbers play Galaxy away this week but have a DGW in Rounds 6 and 8. Round 7, however, is a bye week for the Timbers, so Valeri would need to be benched.
- Dom Dwyer: With Larin and Manneh both out, Dwyer looks like a must add forward for Round 5. Kansas City face Red Bulls away this week but have a DGW in Rounds 6 and 8. Dwyer isn't cheap at $10.1 but would be worth making the cash for by making transfers in other positions.
Drop
Here are a list of injuries for this weekend, I would drop those that will be seeing lengthy spells on the sidelines. Also, Brek Shea is suspended for this Friday's game.
