Cristian Bragarnik, the agent for Hector Villalba of Argentinian club San Lorenzo, gave an interview on the 90 Minutos program on Fox Sports in Buenos Aires today and discussed his client’s current status. Rumors were swirling about Villalba heading to Boca Juniors, but Bragarnik dismissed them.

He then mentioned that offers had been made from the US and from Mexico, but the only club he mentioned specifically was Atlanta United.

Villalba's contract is up at the end of 2016 and there seems to be potential for a signing to take place before then.

There were rumors of Seattle showing interest last fall, but nothing came of the interest. Due to Villalba’s potential transfer fee and contract, Sounder at Heart considered him a potential Designated Player candidate.
Villalba is about to turn 22 years old and joined San Lorenzo when he was 10. He made his professional debut for the club at 18 in 2012. A right winger or striker, he has extensive experience in the Argentine First Division and Copa Libertadores. He was on the bench for San Lorenzo’s FIFA Club World Cup matches in December 2014 against Auckland City and Real Madrid.
However, he seems to have fallen out of favor at the club and was not a regular part of the squad during the past season.
