Yesterday was the 2 year anniversary of the greatest Lamar Hunt US Open Cup match ever held in Atlanta. It was the Silverbacks who defeated Real Salt Lake in the Fourth Round in 2014. Kwadwo Poku made his name known on the national stage.

Next year at this time, Atlanta United will be playing in its first US Open Cup match. The Fourth Round is where MLS teams enter the tournament and face off with the survivors from the NASL, USL, and amateur ranks.

The round started last night and saw MLS teams win all of their matches with lower division opposition. However, RSL and the LA Galaxy needed extra time to get it done. The beauty of the Cup is here, where smaller teams like the Rochester Rhinos, Cal FC, and the San Francisco Bay Seals create a legacy.

Here’s some of tonight's most interesting match-ups:

Jacksonville Armada vs. Orlando City, 7:00pm

New York City vs. New York Cosmos, 7:30pm

Chicago Fire vs. Indy Eleven, 8:30pm
