Business will be picking up for Atlanta United soon when the summer transfer window opens. With rumors already out there about some possible signings, keep checking with us as news breaks. Be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook so you don’t miss anything.
In the meantime, many of Atlanta United’s academy signing class is in action with Georgia United at the US Soccer Development Academy playoffs in Texas this week. Homegrown signing Andrew Carleton had a pair of goals for the U18’s in a losing effort, while the U16’s beat MLS’ New England Revolution U16 3-2.
Also, we’re waiting for Jeffrey Otoo to make his debut in Charleston with the Battery, alongside goalkeeper Alex Tambakis. Junior Burgos is between NASL seasons with the Tampa Bay Rowdies and isn’t back in action until July 2.
It’s a small roster currently, but rest up for what could turn into a wild summer on the Atlanta United front.
