Concorde Fire

The three Concorde Fire Development Academy teams traveled to North Carolina to take on the Charlotte Soccer Academy at the OrthoCarolina Sportsplex.

The U-14 fell to Charlotte, 5-0.

The U-16s lost, 3-0.

The Concorde U-18s closed out their season with a 2-1 win. Roberto Arteaga and Kadesh Taffe scored to lead the Fire to victory.

Darlington heading to National Premier League finals

The Darlington Soccer Academy won the U-18 level of the Gulf States Premier League. They earned a spot at the NPL Finals being held July 14th through the 18th at Aurora Sports Park in Aurora, Colorado.

Development Academy Playoff draw

Who will the local DA teams be facing off against in the playoffs? We find out today.

The top team from each of the eight playoff groups advances to the knockout rounds. The knockout round winners play in the Academy Championships from July 14th through the 16th at the National Training Center in Carson, California.

Georgia Soccer crowned its State Cup champions over the weekend:

U-13: Concorde Fire Central Elite 3-2 SSA Chelsea Elite

U-14: GSA Premier 2-1 Concorde Fire Central Elite

U-15: UFA Premier 3-1 Atlanta Fire Elite

U-16: UFA Premier 6-1 NASA Elite

U-17: KSA Premier 2-0 Concorde Fire Elite

U-18: UFA-Norcross Fury Premier 2-1 KSA Premier

U-19: Concorde Fire Elite 1-0 KSA Premier

The Southern Regional Championships are June 23rd through the 29th in Greenville, South Carolina. A win in the championship there earns a ticket to the National Championships in Frisco, Texas from July 25th through the 31st.
