Former Georgia Bulldogs kicker Blair Walsh shows off his soccer skills

Blair Walsh competes against Cesc Fabregas in a challenge

Chelsea will be visiting Minneapolis as part of this year’s International Champions Cup on August 3 where they face AC Milan at US Bank Stadium.

Former University of Georgia kicker Blair Walsh got in on the promotion of the event as part of Chelsea’s #FootballvsFootball Challenge on Twitter.

Note the old NASL match ball in the clip, I’m sure that Minnesota United was pleased...

No surprise that Walsh has some skills, he was a standout high school soccer player at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He never kicked a football before his freshman year when he tried it after soccer practice. His brother went on to play soccer at Harvard, Walsh became a kicker at Georgia instead after one year of playing high school football. At Georgia, he was named to the Bulldogs’ Team of the Decade and he is now entering his fifth season in the NFL.

We’ll be watching to see what Blair is up to next in the #FootballvsFootball challenge...
