We are now entering the business end of the summer transfer window, with more activity expected across the league in the next two weeks.
Jason Kreis is now in place in Orlando, expect them to get busy immediately in adding to a roster in need of reinforcements. Seattle is trying to upgrade in order to salvage their season and are close to finalizing a deal for Boca Juniors playmaker Nicolás Lodeiro. Expect other deals to get done around the league as well.
In Atlanta, #VillalbaWatch continues. The latest on the rumor mill is that Villalba could join Argentine club Godoy Cruz on loan before Atlanta’s preseason training camp.
Catch up on Atlanta’s USL affiliate with the Chucktown Check-In that went live this morning.
