Atlanta United technical director Carlos Bocanegra gave an update on the club's search for a manager Friday afternoon during Hector Villalba's introductory press conference.
While answering questions about the club's first ever Designated Player, Bocanegra was asked how Villalba felt joining a club with no manager and how he'd fit into the style of play. He responded by saying that any manager that Atlanta United brings in will adapt to the style of play the club wants to play and will want to fit Villalba plus all the other players they've signed into the team.

He went on to state that a shortlist for the manager position has formed and that a decision could be announced at any time.
Darren Eales has repeatedly stated that a manager would likely be hired by the end of summer, giving a late July/early August time frame for the hiring.
Josh Wolff is the only name that has popped up once all the way back in December, since then it's been all quiet on the rumor front. We shall see soon who they have in mind to become the club's first ever manager.
