Region III Championships
One Georgia team punched their ticket to the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships.
The U-16 Concorde Fire defeated Andromeda FC Red, 2-1, to earn a spot in the national tournament that will take place July 25 through the 31st at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas.
The Southern Region III Championships were played at the MeSA Soccer Complex in Greenville, South Carolina.
U-13: Concorde Fire Elite lost, 3-0, in the semifinals to CASL Academy Juniors.
U-14: Concorde Fire Central Elite lost, 5-2, in the semifinals to West Pines United Carrillo.
U-15: GSA Premier defeated United FA Premier, 1-0, in the semifinals. GSA Premier lost in a penalty kick shootout to Davie United Sharks Blue in the final.
U-16: United FA Premier lost in a penalty shootout to Andromeda FC Red in the semifinals. Concorde Fire defeated MSK Rayados Barcelona in the semifinals. Concorde Fire beat Andromeda FC Red, 2-1, in the final.
U-18: UFA-Norcross Premier lost, 2-1, to FC Dallas Premier in the semifinals. KSA Premier beat Mandeville Lakers, 1-0, in the semifinals. KSA Premier lost, 1-0, to FC Dallas Premier in the final.
