Atlanta United’s Kenwyne Jones is expected to make his Central FC debut on Tuesday night in the CONCACAF Champions League against Sporting Kansas City. According to socawarrior.net, Jones has been cleared to play in the club’s second group stage match.

The newly-signed striker still hasn’t been officially been announced as being loaned out by Atlanta United, but Central FC have confirmed the move according to the report.

Jones will apparently walk straight into the starting lineup for this match as he’s very anxious to get match fit for Trinidad and Tobago’s two important World Cup qualifiers early next month.

He was held out of the lineup in the club’s first CCL match, a home loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps, because official paperwork for his transfer hadn’t been completed yet. Despite Atlanta not announcing anything yet, it appears as if Central FC feel comfortable with his status and will put him out for his debut.
