Kenwyne Jones talks Central FC debut with ExtraTime TV

Oh, and he'll take you on in FIFA, too.

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

Kenwyne Jones has been officially cleared to play with Central FC in their CONCACAF Champions League match against Sporting Kansas City tonight. The latest Atlanta United player to be loaned out told ExtraTime TV in Trinidad and Tobago he hopes to make his debut with the team against the MLS side.

Jones also took time to answer fan questions, giving you a glimpse of the strikers personality and his openness to engage with his fans. Jones compared playing in the Premier League to playing in other league, how his loan to Central FC will impact support for the local TT Pro League and he also love playing FIFA. He even went as far as giving his gamer tag for people to challenge him.

For those looking to catch tonight's CCL match, it'll be shown on Univision Deportes at 8 p.m. It's the first chance to catch one Atlanta United's marquee signings go up against MLS competition.

Word of advice: don't get caught up in how well he does tonight. Take note of his off-ball runs, the attention he receives from opposing center-backs and how he uses his size and strength. Remember, it's his first game with a new team in a new league. Don't get too high or low off one performance.
