Atlanta United Loan Watch Preview: Most loanees should be in action this weekend

Villalba may miss Liga MX action due to his midweek Copa MX appearance

Chris McCann - Coventry City - League One

Coventry City at Bradford City - Saturday, August 20 at 10 a.m. EST

After a good debut against Bury, Chris McCann looks to make the staring eleven for the second match in a row as Coventry City take on Bradford City in League One action. There won't be a broadcast available in the US, but follow the running commentary of the match on Twitter.

Tito Villalba - Club Tijuana - Liga MX

Club Tijuana at Necaxa - Saturday, August 20 at 10 p.m. EST

Villalba looks to make his fourth appearance with the Xolos as they face Necaxa in their sixth Liga MX match of the season. Look for Villalba to possibly come off the bench again as he's probably still recovering from his midweek Copa MX appearance for the club. The match will be available on Galavision and FuboTV.

Kenwyne Jones - Central FC - TT Pro League

Central FC at Whitecaps - Wednesday, September 28 at 10 p.m. EST - CONCACAF Champions League

Central FC's next match comes against the Vancouver Whitecaps in their third match of CONCACAF Champions League group play Wednesday, September 28. Jones had a fantastic debut with the club, scoring a goal and looking dominant against MLS competition. The match will be available to view on Facebook.

Junior Burgos - Tampa Bay Rowdies - NASL

Tampa Bay Rowdies vs FC Edmonton - Saturday, August 20 at 7:30 p.m. ET

Junior Burgos didn't make the team sheet in the club's last match against Minnesota United. Hopefully, Burgos makes the 18 on Saturday, but don't expect him to start. That Atlanta United loanee would likely come off the bench if needed. You can watch this match through ESPN3, NASL Live and Bright House Sports Network.

Alex Tambakis & Jeffery Otoo - Charleston Battery - USL

Charleston Battery at Wilmington Hammerheads - Saturday, August 20 at 7:00 p.m. EST

The Charleston Battery were forced to postpone their last match against the Richmond Kickers due to weather. They now set their sights on the Wilmington Hammerheads in the last clash between the two rivals. Otoo made the team sheet against the the Kickers and appears to finally be in shape to make regular appearances for the Battery. Expect him to make the 18 but come off the bench at some point in the match.

Alex Tambakis has been in-and-out of the lineup throughout the season, splitting time with Odisnel Cooper. That trend should continue as the Greek keeper continues to develop ahead of Atlanta United's inaugural season. He started the match against the Kickers before the game was postponed due to weather. It's hard to say which goalkeeper will start against the Hammerheads.

This match will be made available on Youtube.

Andrew Carleton - Charleston Battery & USYNT

Carleton is currently training with the academy team to complete his Homegrown requirements. He's also training with the U.S. youth national team.
