WATCH: Kenwyne Jones speaks to Trindadian media

Hear from Atlanta United's first striker ahead of 2017!

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

We've seen the excited and exuberant Kenwyne Jones on social media, but many Atlanta United supporters have yet to hear the man speak.

Jones was a guest of ExtraTimeTV in Trinidad in Tobago during his first Central FC training session. He spoke about his current goals, the latest on his transfer/loan to Central FC and the upcoming CONCACAF Qualifier. He's also happy to be home during the next round of World Cup Qualifiers.

Jones has spent the majority of his career in Europe after starting his career in Trinidad and Tobago, leaving W Connection FC in 2004 to join Southampton. The 31-year-old made 11 appearances for Al Jazira on loan last season before signing with Atlanta United.

"Home is the place that supports my transition," Jones said in the interview regarding his move to Atlanta United.

The Twitter activity from Jones has been fun to watch, but seeing him speak helps round out the personality of Atlanta United's marquee striker.
