Atlanta United under-18 forward, Michael Ille, has announced his commitment to attend Clemson University next fall.

Ille, 17, is a product of Concorde Fire SC where he tallied an impressive total of 41 goals over the last two Development Academy seasons between the U-16 and U-18 teams.

College Soccer News ranked the Suwanee native 80th on their Top 150 list of Class of 2017 players.

In June, Ille was named to the inaugural U-18 roster for Atlanta United’s Academy.

He’ll likely participate with Atlanta in the upcoming Dev. Academy season with the U-18’s before beginning his time with Clemson next fall.

Atlanta United’s Academy was established not only to produce talent for the first team, but to enrich the lives of top youth soccer players in the area and give them the tools to succeed. While, it’s only just been established, Ille will have a great support system to lean on when he’s not in the college environment.

On the flipside, Atlanta will definitely be keeping tabs on Ille if/when he’s playing for Clemson.

Dirty South Soccer congratulates Michael on his decision and wishes him the best of luck.
