Club Tijuana, Xolos, or whatever you want to call them, are coming off a massive 4-0 victory over Chivas last weekend. They looked like a million bucks in that match with a lot of production coming from the flanks. Does that spell bad news for Hector Villalba? We shall see.

This week’s slate has Xolos traveling to Cruz Azul for a league match. Cruz Azul have played three times this season and have drawn all three matches.

Villalba’s loan to Tijuana was finally made official on Thursday by Atlanta United. He will be available for this match, but will he play?

Tito has been training with the club all week as pictures and videos on social media tell us. You’d have to think that he’s close to full match fitness at this point and ready to at least make an appearance on the substitute’s bench. We’ll have to wait and see if that’s the case tonight.

Xolos are already a deep club with depth on the wings, so Villalba will face a battle for playing time this season. We can only hope that he gets his fair share of reps to stay fit and confident heading into Atlanta United training camp.

As always, we’ll be in the comments section should anything interesting happen. Come join us and chat.
