Chris McCann - Coventry City - League One
Coventry City at Oldham Athletic - Saturday, September 17 at 10 a.m. EST
Chris McCann was held out of last weeks match due to a groin injury but appears healthy enough to take on Oldham this weekend.
@ATLUTD Chris McCann seems back to health (groin) for Coventry City, where he is on loan, according to Coventry Telegraph
— Doug Roberson (@DougRobersonAJC) September 14, 2016
Depending on how much he's trained since being injured, I wouldn't expect McCann to play the whole match. He's been a cog of the Coventry City midfield since joining the club on loan from Atlanta United. The game will not be available in the US.
Tito Villalba - Club Tijuana - Liga MX
Club Tijuana at Pachuca - Saturday, September 17 at 8 p.m. EST
Club Tijuana vs Querétaro - Wednesday, September 21 at 11 p.m. EST
Tito Villalba finally got some playing time after sitting the last three games. Villalba played 51 minutes in the club's 2-1 loss to Toluca in Copa MX action. Given the recent trend, I wouldn't expect Villalba to play outside of the last few minutes of the match. We're more likely to see him if Xolos mount a big lead with substantial time remaining in the match.
Villalba could see some playing time this week, however, as Xolos have three matches in seven days.
Kenwyne Jones - Central FC - TT Pro League
Central FC vs Vancouver Whitecaps - Tuesday, September 28 at 10 p.m. EST - CONCACAF Champions League
Kenwyne Jones comes off a disappointing performance and defeat at the hands of the US Men's National Team on Tuesday in the final CONCACAF World Cup Qualifier. Jones won't be in action again until later this month when Central FC faces Sporting Kansas City in CONCACAF Champions League action.
Junior Burgos - Tampa Bay Rowdies - NASL
Tampa Bay Rowdies vs Carolina Railhawks - Saturday, September 17 at 7:30 p.m. EST
Junior Burgos hasn't gotten much playing time this season. Burgos didn't even travet with the team to take on Puerto Rico FC. Perhaps things will change for Burgos this weekend. You can watch this match through ESPN3.
Alex Tambakis, Jeffery Otoo and Andrew Carleton - Charleston Battery - USL
Charleston Battery vs Richmond Kickers - Saturday, September 17 at 5 p.m. EST
Andrew Carleton got his first start for the Battery against Bethlehem Steel FC and managed a pretty decent performance. We can't say with certainty if he'll play this weekend, but the safe bet would be that he gets subbed in midway through the second half.
Jeffery Otoo subbed in for Carleton in the 66th minute against BSFC. We could see Otoo start or get subbed on in a similar manner to last week.
Alex Tambakis has started the last five matches over Odisnel Cooper, and every time I think they'll rotate Cooper in just to get him some playing time, Tambakis gets the start. At this point, I'd bet Tambakis get's the start as he's playing much better than earlier in the season and has obviously been the more consistent presence in goal for the club.
This match will be made available on Youtube.
