McCann failed a late fitness test and missed out on the 18 once again. That’s the bad news. The good news is that his injury doesn’t seem very serious and he should be back relatively soon.

After starting a playing 54 minutes in Copa MX on Wednesday, Tito didn’t make the 18 on Saturday as Xolos wrap up a torrid stretch of away matches. There are no reports of him picking up an injury.

Kenwyne Jones - Central FC - TT Pro League

The TT Pro League regular season still hasn’t kicked off. The schedule for the 2016-17 season hasn’t been officially released yet. Central FC’s next official match is scheduled for Wednesday, September 28 against the Vancouver Whitecaps in the CONCACAF Champions League.

Burgos didn’t make the bench once again in a 1-0 win vs. Carolina Railhawks.

Alex Tambakis, Andrew Carleton, & Jeffrey Otoo - Charleston Battery - USL

Charleston Battery 2, Richmond Kickers 1

It was another 3-for-3 day for Atlanta United’s loanee contingent with the Charleston Battery. Alex Tambakis got the start again and made several key saves.

Andrew Carleton got about 25 minutes off the bench and recorded his first every professional assist on Maikel Chang’s late match-winning goal. See it here:

Jeffrey Otoo was also a late sub. He didn’t have much involvement in the play.
