Atlanta United have seven players on their roster and now they have a world-class manager in charge of building it up even further. If somehow that doesn’t get you excited about the direction the club is heading, perhaps a brand new jersey will.
During Tata Martino’s introductory press conference on Wednesday morning, President Darren Eales announced that Atlanta United’s first ever home kit will be revealed in late November.

It seems like we can expect big news on a monthly (possibly even weekly) basis between now and the start of Atlanta’s inaugural season in MLS.
While the home jersey will be released this year, the away jersey will not be announced until closer to the team’s first match in March.
We don’t know exactly what the jersey will look like, but the club have stated several times that it will likely be modeled after AC Milan’s classic look with red and black verticals stripes. We also know that the American Family Insurance logo will be on the front of it as they’ve agreed to a deal to become the club’s primary jersey sponsor.
The news is picking up fast and quick. It’s an exciting time to be an Atlanta United fan.
