WATCH: Jeremy Ebobisse scores fantastic goal to open his USL account

What a finish

We’ve been following the interesting story of Jeremy Ebobisse for a while. The former Duke University striker chose to forego his Junior season in college to sign a contract with MLS and enter the 2017 SuperDraft.

He then joined Atlanta United’s USL affiliate, the Charleston Battery on loan for the rest of the season.

On Wednesday, the young forward made his first start fro the Battery and scored this lovely goal to open his account in the USL:

The skill and poise he shows on this goal is quite nice. He’s a natural left-footed player and it shows on this great finish.

Many consider Ebobisse to be a top prospect in the upcoming draft. MLS’ Matt Doyle even went as far as calling him the probable No. 1 pick. With Atlanta United guaranteed to have one of the top two picks in this year’s draft and having easy access to watching him every week, he could be an option as the club’s first ever SuperDraft selection.
