Romario Williams scooped up Offensive Player Of The Year in the Battery’s 2017 season awards Saturday night. The striker scored 15 goals in 21 games, the most individually out of the 52 the Battery have scored this year.

This comes off a 2016 that had him notch 9 goals for the entire season, marking a much improved campaign so far this year. He was also a massive part of Jamaica’s run to the 2017 Gold Cup final, scoring crucial goals in both the group stage and knockout rounds.

The second half of his club campaign has been disrupted by suspensions and additional call-ups, but he remains one of the Battery’s key players headed into the playoffs.
