What a fantastic journey it’s been. The good, the bad. The beautiful, the ugly. This inaugural season has had pretty much everything. It comes to a close today with arguably the two best teams in the East and the whole league. Toronto FC, this year’s Supporters’ Shield winners have had one of the most successful seasons in MLS history. They come to town looking to spoil Atlanta United’s party and force them into a road match in the first-round of the playoffs.
These two teams met in a wild match earlier this season that ended 2-2 and saw Yamil Asad sent off. The Five Stripes need a good result to ensure a favorable path in thr playoffs. They’ll potentially have Miguel Almiron and Chris McCann back from injury in this one.
