And just like that, the inaugural season vanishes into thin air. Zack Steffen’s heroics combined with Atlanta United’s inability to finish have put a grinding halt to what was a phenomenal year one for the Five Stripes.

Man of the Match: Brad Guzan

It was another stellar showing from Atlanta’s man between the sticks. Brad Guzan has been nothing short of fantastic since his arrival in July. Any doubts about whether he was worth the money (I’m guilty here) or if he is that much better than Alec Kann have been resoundingly quelled.
