Atlanta Silverbacks announce 2017 NPSL schedule

The Atlanta Silverbacks announced their 2017 NPSL schedule this afternoon. The club will play six home matches and six away matches in their second year playing in the NPSL.

The Silverbacks play each team in the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference and two clubs from the Western Division twice. The division crossover matches will be against Birmingham Hammers FC and the New Orleans Jesters.

The Silverbacks kick of the regular season at home when they host the Birmingham on Saturday May 6 at 5:00pm. They remain at home to play FC Carolina Discoveries (SC) the following Friday before traveling across town to play the Georgia Revolution on Saturday May 13.

Atlanta Silverbacks

Except for a Thursday match against FC Carolina, every home fixture is on Saturday at 5:00pm. After some speculation by supporters, the Silverbacks announced that the match times were shifted earlier to accommodate fan preferences.
