Atlanta United commemorate Josef Martinez’s historic hat-trick with official t-shirt

Cool.

Atlanta United have upped their merchandise game big time this week, adding a very cool new t-shirt to their online store. In tribute to Josef Martinez scoring the club’s first ever hat trick against Minnesota United in the snow during week 3, they have released this commemorative shirt in his honor:

Complete with an orange ball and snow, just like he scored his three goals with, his name is stretched across the front of the shirt with a hate on top of the ball that serves as the “O” in J-O-S-E-F.

This is the first bit of creative design we’ve seen marketed towards one player. They’ve picked a very good time to do something around Josef as the club announced his permanent transfer earlier this week, so fans should feel safe investing in merch around one of the team’s catalysts.

The design itself is very clever and looks very good. What do you think? Are they getting your money?
