92.9 The Game will serve as the club's English language home, while La Mejor 1600/1460/1130 will be the Spanish partner, according to a series of tweets from United. Former Orlando City SC radio play-by-play man Adam Schick, a native of the Atlanta area, will be on English language radio duties along side Jason Longshore on color commentary. The Spanish commentators have not been revealed as of yet.
This is yet another big partnership for the expansion club in addition to the TV broadcast deal that was announced a couple of weeks ago with FOX Sports Regional Networks. The club are doing everything possible to make sure as many supporters around Georgia and the Southeast have access to their matches. In just four and a half years, 92.9 The Game has become the most listened to sports radio station in Atlanta, beating longer-running and more-established rival 680/93.7 The Fan in key ratings demographics.
92.9 The Game will host a 3 1⁄2 hour pre-game show from Bobby Dodd Stadium on Sunday starting at 4 p.m. leading up to kickoff. The show will be hosted by John Fricke and Kyle Tait.
