Last week, the Georgia Revolution released the schedule for the 2017 NPSL season. The schedule boasts 19 fixtures, including NPSL league matches, special rivalry games, and friendlies.
The Revs’ NPSL schedule is similar to the Silverbacks, with a home and away series against every club in the Eastern division of the Southeastern Conference and two teams from the West.
That means two cross-town derbies against the Backs and crossover matches with Chattanooga FC and the New Orleans Jesters.

To prepare for the 2017 season, the Eagles have scheduled four preseason matches against Savannah Clovers FC, an All Army Team, and a home and away match against Peachtree City MOBA of PDL.
Midseason, the Revolution will host the Clovers and Lowcountry United FC of Charleston for friendlies. “We want to help support some of the teams that are aspiring to be more,” the Eagles said to DSS. Both clubs have publicly announced interest in joining NPSL in the future.
The Georgia Revolution and Birmingham Hammers FC will continue the I-20 Cup for a second year with a one-off match on Tuesday June 13 in Alabama. The Eagles won the inaugural contest last year 2-0 on aggregate.
Nineteen official matches is a big slate for a lower-division soccer club, but the Georgia Revolution see the value in a full schedule. “We felt like it would give more opportunities for some of the fringe players on our team to receive more game minutes and to evaluate the players more,” the club said.
Soccer fans in Henry County will have plenty of opportunities to support local soccer this season. The Georgia Revolution kick of their preseason on Saturday April 15 in Savannah, GA. Flex ticket packages are available at GeorgiaRevolutionFC.com.
