In a close, hard-fought match it’s hard to distinguish between good performances and bad performances. In Atlanta United’s 0-0 draw at the Seattle Sounders, our community ratings reflected very well a good defensive performance. The two highest rated players on the night were defenders. Man of the Match: Leandro Gonzalez Pirez

In agreement with the team’s official decree, LGP is the DSS community’s Man of the Match as well. The big defender put on a great performance with time tackles, inceptions, and clearances. His commanding presence in the box is undeniable at this point. Alongside Greg Garza on the left side of the Five Stripes’ defense, they have been a brick wall so far this season.
