Miguel Almiron vs. Cristiano Ronaldo? Karim Benzema vs. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez? Josef Martinez vs. Sergio Ramos? All of those dream match-ups are possibilities this year as it was made official on Saturday that Real Madrid will be the opponent for the 2017 MLS All-Star Game.

The Galacticos will take on the MLS All-Stars at Chicago’s Soldier Field on August 2. The game will be broadcast live at 9 pm ET on FS1.

While we know basically all the stars for Real Madrid will be there, we still have no idea what the MLS All-Star team could look like. Voting for the team has not been opened yet. You’d have to imagine that Atlanta United will have at least one representative on the team, especially if the Starting XI is decided by a fan vote.

Chicago Fire head coach Veljko Paunovic will lead the All-Stars in the match against Zinedine Zidane. Expect to see some heavy campaigning for Atlanta United votes as soon as the ballots are out a little bit later this year.
